In hospiel and I went in a walker! I did 20 steps. I got 2 stikers 1 smalls like coke! mmmmm! I Got a new wheel-chir.

Here is Max when he was in hospital. Max is 6 years old and lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
Max has broken his leg and will be in a wheelchair for 6 weeks! He can't come to school so he is using this blog to do his school work. Miss Thomas (his teacher) will be able to check his work and leave him comments. He might even get some comments from his friends and his family!

Aha - so you do have legs under all that green stuff!! You look great with legs!! Have fun in your new chair - I hope you come and visit us at school soon!
Max you did so well today when Ruth the physio asked you to use the walker. I know that it was very nerve wracking as your legs were very shakey. You did really well doing all the exercises she asked you to do and then went on to take so many steps with the walker. Very proud of you - keep up the good work. Love Mum - Kirsty Hood.
HI Max,I am so pleased that your cast is off. Mum has told me all about it .I think it must have been very scary with the saw & having to use ear muffs because it was so noisy.
Your new chair looks coool and I hear you did really well with the physio, which I think will be hard work.
Well done for being so brave and cheerful all the time. Continue doing your exercise and your leg will soon get stronger .
I will keep phoning and ringing Mum to see how you are getting on. It must feel funny to be standing up again.
