Here is Max when he was in hospital. Max is 6 years old and lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
Max has broken his leg and will be in a wheelchair for 6 weeks! He can't come to school so he is using this blog to do his school work. Miss Thomas (his teacher) will be able to check his work and leave him comments. He might even get some comments from his friends and his family!

It was really nice for Max to speak to so many of his friends today - thank you for arranging this Miss Thomas. Max is missing being at school so it is really nice for him just to get a 'taster' of what Room 18 have been up to. We have been following what you have been doing on the Class Blog - it has certainly been a busy first week back at school. Thanks to everyone for all their kind wishes and messages - I know Max really appreciates it.
As Max mentioned to some of the children today we went to Starship this afternoon for other x-ray. The good news from the Doctor is that there is some new growth showing around the broken bone on his leg and therefore it has started healing. We will be going back to Startship in 3 weeks (7 August) and will find out then if his plaster can come off. Thanks again to everyone for all their kind wishes. Kirsty Hood - Max's mum.
